Freida Pinto, the Slumdog Millionaire female star has become the highest paid actress of Bollywood according to news reports. The dusky Freida Pinto has also landed herself plum roles in two of the top names in Hollywood Woody Allen and Julian Schnabel. With instant fame and perks, comes the cash too. So according to the Daily Telegraph, Freida Pinto has raced ahead of Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif to become the highest paid actress in India.
Freida is now in Israel, shooting for a new film centered on the lives of Israeli and Palestinian women from the early years of the state through the early 1990s. Freida Pinto is believed to be earning over million pounds. Freida is now heralded as a global face and not just an Indian girl who has been groomed for international films.
