Deepika Padukone ’s character Meow Meow in her recent film with Akshay Kumar is inspired Hollywood actress Lucy Liu’s character in Charlies Angels. So when the director of the English film McG got to know about it, he was quite amused and was keen on watching Akshay’s film. He attended the premier in LA and told director Nikhil Advani that he was quite impressed by Deepika’s look.
The others who graced the event held at the Steven J Ross Theatre in Burbank, California, were John Landis, director of Beverly Hills Cop III, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show, Twilight Zone: The Movie, and Alan Horn, President and COO of Warner Bros, Richard Fox, executive VP, Warner Bros. International.
