Ajay Devgan and Kajol will add some (established) star power to Kumar Mangat’s Haal-e-Dil, which stars newcomers Amita Pathak, Adhyayan Suman and Nakuul Mehta. They will feature in a song for the film.
Nakuul Mehta, whom plays Shekhar in the movie, reveals, “We are going to shoot the song Oye Hoye with Ajay and Kajol. The two day shoot starts on Thursday in Mumbai and features Amita, Ajay, Kajol and me. My segment with Amita has already been shot and we are shooting for the segment with Ajay and Kajol. It is a fun Punjabi folk song. This is the second time we are shooting with them after the Mahurat shot of Haal-e-dil. Needless to say, Amita and I are thrilled.”
Coincidentally, the two characters in Haal-e-dill are called Shekhar and Sanjana, as a tribute to the characters in the Ajay Devgan Kajol starrer Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha.
Amita tells us, “Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha is my favourite movie. Throughout the movie, the characters do not tell each other ‘I love you’ but you can see it in their eyes and actions. Only in the end they declare their feelings and get together. ”
She adds, “Ajay and Kajoldi are like my family.”
Producer Kumar Mangat has left no stone unturned to promote his daughter’s debut movie. The movie has been shot in exotic locales like Ladakh and Switzerland and features music by Vishal Bhardwaj and Pritam. The movie is also being promoted very heavily.
Reportedly, Ajay and Kajol were supposed to attend the Haal-e- Dil music launch on 17 May but Mr Mangat asked them to remain absent at the eleventh hour because their presence would overshadow his daughter.

Kumar was Ajay Devgan’s secretary and he has been producing movies for a while now. His Big Screen Entertainment has made movies like No Smoking, Omkara and U, Me Aur Hum. Haal-e-Dil is his latest offering and will be followed by the Govinda starrer Money Hai Toh Honey Hai.
Ajay, Kajol and producer Kumar Mangat remained unavailable for comment.
