Sameera Reddy may be missing from the scene, but she is still making people sit up and take notice of her work. Mithun Chakraborty recently contacted her after seeing some of her films. He wanted to sign her up for a movie
Sameera was more than happy to receive praises from a seasoned actor. She was also excited about the film she was offered. But her enthusiasm didn’t last long when she heard that the film will star Mithun’s son Mimoh in the lead. Mithun is working hard to make Mimoh a success after his disastrous debut and has now finalised a script for his next film.
It was for this film that he contacted Sameera. Sources say, this Reddy girl, in all her excitement, kept gushing about how happy she is to hear from Mithun and even expressed her desire to be a part of any film he wanted her to be in.
Her friends however, claim that she said yes to the film only out of respect for the actor. But now that she knows that Mimoh will be starring in the film, Sameera isn’t too keen and is trying hard to wriggle her way out of the situation.
