Shilpa Shetty decided to donate Rs 6000 per every six in IPL



The gorgeous lady is all set for aggressive promotional stint for her team in the coming IPL season.Shilpa Shetty , the co-owner of Rajasthan Royals has decided to donate Rs 6000 per every six hit by a Rajasthan Royal batsman.



This money will be used as an investment in solar-power plant that will provide electricity to the villages that Shilpa has adopted. It was recently reported that Shilpa has adopted four villages and she wants to see development in these remote areas.


Along with her beau Raj Kundra, Shilpa co-owns IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals. She made the news when the couple bought 12.5 percent stake in the team. The actress has also thought of reviving her charity foundation which she formed two years back.


The Shilpa Shetty Foundation (SFF) is for poor children and their education. Shilpa wants to ensure that funds raised through charity reach out to the needy.


In benevolent mood, the lady feels that God has given her so much that she can give for charity. She acclaims, “The cause is really good. I couldn’t believe that there are still villages that don’t have electricity. This money will go to provide solar lamps on behalf of NDTV and us.”


IPL season 2 is getting glamorous as the lady has promised to add oomph to IPL. Shilpa has plans to produce and feature in a stunning music video for her team lead by Aussie spinner Shane Warne.
