The latest buzz has it that Vidya Balan said no to Ram Gopal Varma’s film. And apparently, she is not the only one who said no. The director is having a tough time getting a heroine for the film. Ramu is planning five films to be made by his assistant directors. The maverick director also plans to introduce a female director, Rumina, for the first time.
Our source said, “The film is called Shaque and as the title suggests, it is about the trouble that suspicion causes between married couples.
The plot is an engrossing drama like all Ramu films and he zeroed in on Vidya.
But she turned down the film.”
Apparently Ramu was also keen to have Sridevi on board. “Ramu had Sridevi in mind and wanted Shaque to be her comeback launch. But things did not fall into place here either,”said our source.
“He then approached Sahana Goswami but it was a no go here as well. Undaunted, Ramu has decided to still go ahead with his project and the hunt is on.”
