After the wonderfully positive response for Love Aaj Kal, Saif decided to unwind from all that pre-release stress by spending some quality time with family. Karren also joined them all."I was a little under the weather on Friday and very anxious about how Love Aaj Kal will be received. But now I'm fine. Yes, Kareena and I were chilling out with abba (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) and amma (Sharmila Tagore) all day on Friday," said Saif.
Saif flew into Delhi for a special screening of Love Aaj Kal on Thursday. After the event, rest of the Love Aaj Kal cast and crew flew back - director Imtiaz Ali to Mumbai, Deepika Padukone to London, but Saif stayed back.

The film released on Friday and got an overwhelming response. "The reports coming in about Love Aaj Kal are very encouraging. Both the reviews and the box office collections have been very generous. I couldn't have hoped for a better start as a producer," said Saif.
