Bollywood’s big banners - Dharma Productions and Red Chillies - announced their collaboration with Fox Star Movies in an official press conference yesterday. The international production company has brought the worldwide rights of Karan Johar’smovie ‘My Name is Khan’.

The director said this was an exceptional moment for both the banners to associate with the prestigious Fox. On the movie, he said that ‘My Name is Khan’ is something beyond the making of the movie. “It is much more than creating a film; it was more like a passion project.”

The King Khan presented the movie in his own style. He felt the movie was much advanced thought-wise, when he came across its story that was written by Karan three years ago. Shah Rukhstated that his name is no way related to the movie. Instead, the name of the film is relevant to story that Shibani Bathija has written. He said, “My name is unimportant. My work is much more important than my name.” Popular to belief, the movie is said to be on terrorism. When asked on this, the actor said, “The film is not about terrorism, it is about relationships. Relationship between two people, the society, city, country and finally between the entire world.” He also denied that the movie is fully based on Islam. It shows a huge Islamic in western angle and the makers of the movie have taken care not to hurt the sentiments of people. Kajol is said to be the cornerstone of the movie.

It will be great to see the popular star couple Shah Rukh and Kajol on screen after a long gap. The movie thus carries lots of expectations. But Karan Johar revealed that the movie won’t have any romantic songs, as in his previous love stories like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, and ‘Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham’. The movie will be a love story but in a different manner.

In ‘My Name is Khan’, Shah Rukh Khan plays the character of Rizvan Khan who is suffering from Asperger’s Syndrome and Kajol plays his wife as Mandira.

Can’t wait for this one, right?
