London: Teen starlet Miley Cyrus has won a restraining order against a stalker.
McLeod, 53, has been banned from going near her, her family or her colleagues.
However, he told police in Georgia that he was “receiving secret messages” from 16-year-old Miley through her hit TV show, Hannah Montana, reports the Daily Star.
McLeod tried to stalk Cyrus, who has been busy filming for the movie, The Last Song, in coastal Georgia since mid-June, it is reported.
The police arrested McLeod, after security officers of Walt Disney Pictures reported that he had come to the seaside film again in spite of a warning from the police.
McLeod was arrested when he tried to break through the security around the film set.
