Sonam called Aishwarya ‘Aunty’

We would expect a youngster to get back to a low profile after being snubbed by an established big name like Aishwarya, but Sonam is not one of those who can take it lying down. Her comment on being the ‘young face’ for L’Oreal, as compared to Aishwarya, actually cost her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.

Ash, she said would attract an older crowd while she would appeal to the youth. Aishwarya was obviously quite disappointed with this and took action in her own way!
Now, it is Sonam’s turn again. Very innocently, she took a sensitive dig at the 35 year old actress, saying, “Ash has worked with my dad so I have to call her Aunty na?” Well, that’s a fact, Aishwarya has acted a couple of times opposite Anil Kapoor! That’s not, Sonam has made sure that Aishwarya is referred to as ‘Aunty’ among all her friends. Well, we guess people should make the best of age and beauty as long as it lasts!
