Nagendra Karri, a young Indian origin filmmaker has announced his 30 million USD film, named Mobster which will also be made in Hindi simultaneously.Karri film 'Where are you Sophia?' was screened in the last Cannes Film Festival.
Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio or Russell Crowe is supposed to be playing the lead role. The Hindi version will have Aamir Khan, Kamal Hasan, Abhishek Bachchan or Rahul Bose playing the lead, as per the 26-year-old director. "We are also in touch with the agents of Eva Green for one of the main characters in the film,” said Karri. Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan Khan are also playing important characters in the English version.
The shooting of the film will start in September and will have India as the main location. “I am planning to shoot in the north eastern part of India, probably Mizoram or Nagaland, which are not known too much of the world,” said karri.
