While promoting her new film Australia, Nicole Kidman told the media of her admiration for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. “I’m a fan of Aishwarya Rai and her film Bride and Prejudice,” she said, “I got to meet Aishwarya for the first time at the 2005 Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World dinner held in New York City. I think she’s so beautiful!”Aishwarya recently made headlines and won the hearts of millions for her decision of rejecting an offer by L’Oreal to promote a skin fairness product. She insisted that she will not promote a fairness cream especially in India, where one`s skin colour is sometimes blown up as an issue. “She will never promote a product that discriminates on the basis of one`s skin colour,” said one of the sources.
