There were reports of Kangana Ranaut being upset with Shiney during the shooting

Shiney

There’s no doubt that Shiney Ahuja is a talented and intense actor. However, his show of intensity in front
of co-stars often leads to flak slinging sessions. Right from Gangster to his unreleased film, Har Pal, almost
every co-star seems to have a contention with the shy star. His serious demeanor often takes the face of
arrogance, which obviously doesn’t go down well with other stars. At a recently held interview, Shiney
clarified some of these ‘allegations’ and came out laughing, that the laughter seemed made-up is a different
issue.

There were reports of Kangana Ranaut being upset with Shiney during the shooting Gangster and Woh
Lamhe. Then there were reports of a fall out between him and his Har Pal co-star, Preity Zinta. Apparently,
in a bid to get that perfect shot, Shiney went on giving retakes which left the actress highly irritated. If that
wasn’t enough, the latest is that, Esha Deol, the leading lady in Hijack got some unasked for acting tips
from Shiney. The Deol gal unceremoniously asked him to mind his own business. Negating all these
rumours, Shiney said, “There are no problems. At least my co-stars have never said it. It is always the
media who says there is a problem. Esha was full of praises about me at a recent event. I do not want to go
around explaining each and every allegation made on me. I will end up doing just that.”
While Shiney is on his own trip towards getting close to perfection, this wannabe perfectionist is
concentrating on his career. Obviously the rising competition in the form of star kids must give him sleepless
nights. Not really! He says, “I have my journey, so does everybody. When you take a baby and throw him
in water, he will learn to swim. That’s how it has been for me. Having no one to back you in Bollywood is
an advantage as well as a disadvantage.”

Shiney shot to fame with Sudhir Mishra’s critically acclaimed film titled, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.
However, in the filmmaker’s latest venture, Tera Kya Hoga Johnny, he opted for newcomer, Neil Nitin
Mukesh. Some say that Shiney and Sudhir’s last film together, titled Khoya Khoya Chand, flopped at the
box-office and the duo decided to take a break from each other. However, buzz is also that Shiney’s
sudden hike in fee is the reason behind this move. As for Shiney, he is unmoved by the gossip. “I am not
even aware of the film. I got to know about it just now. Perhaps Sudhir cast Neil as he has already done a
film called Johnny Gaddar,” smiles Shiney. It’s either that or Sudhir high on big ideas and small budgets, just
couldn’t afford you, Shiney?
