“Dostana” seems to be another winner for Dharma Productions.

It’s out! Yes, the first look of Karan Johar’s Tarun Mansukhani directed DOSTANA, starring the DHOOM hunks, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan (and additionally the sultry beauty Priyanka Chopra!), is out and is already creating waves. The three mentioned stars are sporting a cool Yankee look created by designers, Akki Narula and Manish Malhotra. Set in Urban America, DOSTANA is a light-hearted film.

The film is directed by Karan Johar’s erstwhile assistant Tarun Mansukhani. A major portion of the film was shot in the sun-clad beaches of Miami and needless to say, the cast and crew had the time of their lives. The shooting of the film is almost complete barring an item number which is yet to be shot. Since Abhishek is now busy with his ‘Unforgettable’ tour, the song featuring all the 3 lead actors will be shot only when he returns in September. This film is about three friends and will touch upon sensitive subjects such as gay friendship. It is also heard that the film would contain trailers of Aditya Chopra’s new film “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi”. As far as the promos are concerned, “Dostana” seems to be another winner for Dharma Productions.
