Neil and Deepika starring together in new Movie

Deepika

Says director Pradeep Sarkar who is directing the two talented actor’s for Yash Raj’s next offering.Well-known admaker Pradeep Sarkar made his B-town directorial debut with the super-successful Parineeta which marked Vidya Balan’s entry into Bollywood. Expectations were riding high on Pradeep with the Rani Mukherjee starrer Laaga Chunari Mein Daag but the film received a luke-warm response from audiences and critics was unable to withstand at the BO. Sarkar who has a three-film contract with Yash Raj is back with his last and latest offering from the camp starring Neil and Deepika in the lead.

Most of the film’s pre-production work has been covered and a source close to Sarkar says, ‘The past few days were spent in location hunts, we were recently in Pune and have zeroed down on a couple of places to shoot the opening shots of the movie. Dada (Sarkar is fondly called) has worked very hard on the script of the movie and has taken almost two years to perfect the story and concept. The film will be a cinematographic wonder and because it’s a love story based on the gritty streets of Mumbai, each and every minute detail in lighting and location is being looked after well in advance. However apart from that, Dada is in awe of his lead stars, he says both Deepika and Neil make a lovely pair and compliment each other. Their chemistry and first-time pairing will definitely be one of the many highlights of the movie.”

"Deepika, who is just out of her relationship with Ranbir is headlong into the project and has been devoting all her time into it. Neil, who has not has success with his last release Jail is also concentrating to make this jodi work as he has not had a successful pairing with anyone so far, where he played the central character with a romantic angle," adds the source.

Pradeep Sarkar refrains from speaking too early about the film, only to add in the end that it is going to be a thrilling romance, a new style from him.
