Rakhi Sawant will not invite her mother for the wedding

Sounding excited after her engagement to NRI businessman Elesh Parunjwala, item girl Rakhi Sawant says she wants all her friends, including ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi, to attend her wedding but will not invite her mother.

After the excitement of her engagement with NRI businessman Elesh Parunjwala, Rakhi Sawant is all set to look forward to the wedding. As for those who will attend the wedding, she still has a grudge against her mom, and not anyone else.

What about ex-boyfriend Abhishek? "I completely forgive Abhishek Awasthi. I was very surprised to know that he showed up on Sunday for my scheduled wedding. Surprised and touched. If I knew, I'd have welcomed him. Once he was my boyfriend, but now he's my friend," said Rakhi.

But she hasn't forgiven her mother. "Please, all that nautanki on television for five minutes can't take away the pain I've gone through. As far as I'm concerned that chapter of my life is closed," she said.

Other eliminated contestants from the Rakhi Ka Swayamvar showed up to wish the couple on Sunday. But although a wedding was expected, Rakhi and Elesh only got engaged.

"I was all set to marry Elesh on Sunday. But it was Elesh who said he wanted more time to get to know me. I'm very confident of him. But if he needs more time to get to know me, how can I force myself on him? I'm ready to wait as long as he wants," said Rakhi.

Though she is willing to wait for Elesh to make up his mind about the wedding, she is sure she will not relocate to Canada. "I'm completely sure Elesh is the man for me. But I do have a career in Mumbai. So he'll have to plan our future accordingly."

Shah Rukh remembers his 'bad' old days

Sometime back, Shah Rukh Khan hosted the 4Ps business and marketing quiz DARE 09. He also spoke to the students, recalling his 'kadki' days.

He recounted, "I’m the most successful failure. My mother didn’t live long enough to see me become a superstar. Ab pata nahin Delhi mein yeh word use karte hain ya nahin, but there were times jab meri kudki ho gayi thi. Kudki is when you lose everything and you’re on the road. I equated poverty to failure at one point in my life. I didn’t want to be poor. So I did Deewana, a film that Armaan Kohli had refused. I did Baazigar that my friend Salman didn’t want to do. I acted in Darr because Aamir turned it down and I worked in Dil Aashna Hai because Saif refused it. These films paid well and I was working to avoid unemployment. When Dilip saab (Dilip Kumar) and I were watching my Devdas, I asked him, ‘Why did you do Devdas?’ And he said, ‘Pata nahin. Tab ek lakh rupaiya mila tha’. Then success happened… My speech ends. Normally, people clap now.”

Yes, SRK, we are clapping!

Amrita Rao wants her man to massage her back

The sexy Amrita Rao, who shed her 'village girl' look for an upbeat, sexy role in Shorkut has revealed some of her favorite things. Drool at some red hot Amrita Rao pics as you read about what turns her on.

Favorite season:- Monsoon. "For me, monsoon is the perfect romantic season. It makes everything look so beautiful. This is the way I perceive it. They say that when you are in love, the same things around you look different. Similarly, the rain gives that extra life, that lustre, that green comes out, everything looks so freshly washed, there is freshness around and it's beautiful. You feel very vibrant"

Sex appeal in a man: The most attractive thing in a man is his voice because I think that most romantic relationships start off on the phone. That's the time you are talking and hearing the voice on the other side that is attracting you towards him. You have to live with that sound and voice for your whole life. I'd like my perfect man to give me a perfect back massage. That'll be sensuous, I'm sure because it does affect all your senses.

Getting cozy:I do so many romantic scenes with different actors all the time that I kind of experience the warmth, the hug and that cosiness. That's what happens when you are an actress. You tend to experience emotions that you otherwise haven't faced.
Favourite Books: It may sound strange to you but a good piece of writing seduces me. Sidney Sheldon does that. His book, If Tomorrow Comes is too good

Voluptous Asin's hips and curves

The curvaceous Asin recently rejected campaigning for PETA due to the fact that she likes her meat. By the look of the above sexy Asin picture and yummy curves, we can proudly say that Asin's got meat for sure. Nice to meat you, Asin. By the way, South Indian's who have a midriff fetish will be paralyzed with this sexy Asin photo in saree, with round full hips and abundant belly which surprisingly does not look vulgar.

LOVE AAJ KAL has hit the jackpot.

http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w218/seeucom/actress9/love_aaj_kal_loveaaj.jpg

The film has done tremendous business worldwide; so much so that it is now the second biggest opener of all time with GHAJINI topping the list. While it is yet to be seen how the film sustains itself over the week, just the weekend collections have ensured that at the least LOVE AAJ KAL is a HIT.

As per the collections made available by the makers (EROS International), this is how the collections of the film read: While in India the film has grossed over 47 crores (roughly 28 crores), in overseas the film has grossed 15 crores. This means that at least in India, the film has comfortably left behind the likes of RAB NE BANA DI JODI, SINGH IS KINNG and KAMBAKKHT ISHQ.

The weekdays look promising as well since the film has held on well on Monday (unconfirmed reports indicate that the fall was only 40% when compared to Sunday; an achievement since even a 50% fall is an industry acceptable standard), there is more moolah to come due to Wednesday being a holiday (Diwali falls on this day).

All this would mean that even by conservative estimates, the film is all set to cross the 40 crore mark (just from India) at the end of first week while 45 crores is pretty much on the anvil.

Says Imtiaz Ali who continues to be grounded even though his film has turned out to be a huge money spinner, ’’I am really happy to see LOVE AAJ KAL doing so well. I am even happier for people who had showed faith in the film, put their money into the project and expected it do so well. I am making rounds of multiplexes as well as single screens and it’s a great feeling to see the ’Sold-Out’ out sign practically everywhere.’’

He adds on a parting note, ’’I am glad that LOVE AAJ KAL is progressive cinema. I could have gone by the popular sentiments and made another JAB WE MET but I chose not to do that. Success of the film has reaffirmed my faith that people wish to see different cinema time and again.’’

Ram Gopal Varma's AGYAAT has a Madhubala connection

http://s177.photobucket.com/albums/w218/seeucom/actress9/ram_gopal_varmas_madhuba.jpg

Believe it or not but Ram Gopal Varma’s AGYAAT has a Madhubala connection to it. No, the film has nothing to do with Madhubala’s 1949 classic MAHAL, a suspense drama where she had played a memorable role. Instead it is related to a person who has a blood relation with the beauty queen!

Ok, so let’s reveal the suspense now. The person is question is Imran who is Madhubala’s nephew and has composed the music of the film along with Vikram.

Says a source attached to the film, "That’s true; Imran is Madhubala’s nephew and though she was an epitome of beauty and made her presence felt in front of the camera, Imran is happy doing it in the studio rooms. He got a big opportunity in the form of AGYAAT and along with Vikram went all out to make sure that Ram Gopal Varma got what he wanted for the film."

The composer duo has debuted in AGYAAT which, as per Ram Gopal Varma, is an adventure thriller. New age composers, they have assisted Pritam in films like DHOOM 2, JAB WE MET, CHOCOLATE and just released LOVE AAJ KAL. Incidentally Sachin & Jigar, the composer duo of TEREE SANG (the music of which is excellent) have also assisted Pritam in the past and have gone independent very recently. Another coincidence is the fact that both AGYAAT and TEREE SANG are releasing on the same day i.e. 7th August.

In AGYAAT, Imraan and KAMAAL have come up with a bunch of peppy tracks. Their item/promotional songs like ’Kiss U Day And Night’ and ’Jai Shiv Bum Shambu’ are already getting popular with every passing day. Now it has to be seen how far does the film go and hence take the music along to allow Imraan-Vikram a long and promising innings in Bollywood.
