About two years ago, Shah Rukh Khan and Shankar had come together to make Robot, a project that was very close to both their hearts. Both of them worked on the script for months before they began squabbling over creative differences.
The title of Shankar’s film was registered with SRK’s company, Red Chillies, which was then meant to produce Robot. But things did not turn out to be nasty at all. When Shankar requested Shah Rukh to release the title of the flick to avoid any legal glitches, the superstar had no second thoughts. In fact, all ill vibes were dissipated with this kind gesture. Shankar went ahead and made the film with Rajnikant and Aishwarya Rai.
SRK had always wanted to do a superhero film, and he is now making Ra.One.
