If there is anyone in the film industry who can bring about a truce between the two warring Khans, it’s Farah Khan. She’s close to both of them. And let’s not forget that when Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan had their first fight years ago (on the sets of Chalte Chalte), it was Farah who was instrumental in ending that cold war. The feuding Khans had an emotional reunion at the Sangeeth ceremony before Farah’s wedding.
That’s why when folks talk about ending the ongoing friction between SRK and Sallu - the two have been at loggerheads ever since they quarreled at Katrina Kaif’s birthday last year - they look up to Farah Khan as the peacemaker and hope her to do the seemingly impossible.
“I wish I could bridge the gap. I love both of them. It’s (the fight) getting longer now,” Farah is quoted as saying by a news agency.
The fondness Salman has for Farah is evident from the fact that he, who never appears on any television shows, made an exception for Farah and not just appeared on the first episode of her chat show ‘Tere Mere Beach Mein’ but also brought his loving mom Salma along. The actor also candidly shared some personal secrets on the show which incidentally is co-produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
However, brokering the peace between the two Khans may not be easy for Farah this time. Just a few days back, Salman stated clearly in an interview that he and SRK “can’t be friends”. All the best, Farah.
