Produced by Adithya Chopra under Yash Raj Films banner, Dil Bole Hadippa is a romantic comedy, portraying Rani as a Punjabi girl who becomes a 'man' to fulfill her dreams. Shahid Kapoor is the hero of the film and he plays the role of a cricketer. Sherlyn Chopra plays a model who is Shahid Kapoor's girlfriend.
The director of the film is Anurag Singh.
