Ishmeet Singh Sodhi gone to the hotel’s swimming pool, but unfortunately he fell into its deep end and drowned

20-yr-old Ishmeet Singh Sodhi, winner of the reality show on Star Voice of India on Star Plus, drowned in a hotel swimming pool in Maldives. Ishmeet’s father Gurprinder Singh Sodhi told the media persons that Ishmeet had gone to Maldives to perform in a show. He was staying at a hotel in Maldives and had gone to the hotel’s swimming pool, but unfortunately he fell into its deep end and drowned.

Lata Mangeshkar expressed her grief saying, “I was very happy when he won the Voice of India contest. Such a fate to befall one at such a young age - I have no words to express my feelings.”
