Salman Khan visit to the sleepy hill town of Gurdaspur

That Salman Khan was in sitting BJP MP and veteran actor Vinod Khanna’s constituency of Gurdaspur (Punjab), a couple of days back, is old news and was covered by all leading channels and newspaper. However we are here to give you an insight into the hysteria that built up with Salman’s visit to the sleepy hill town of Gurdaspur.

The road show started in Pathankot and Salman Khan and Vinod Khanna were atop an open Canter so that they could interact with the public. From Pathankot to Dinanagar and then finally to Gurdaspur, the road show was a hugely successful one.

Since two in the afternoon, a huge crowd had gathered in and around Hanuman Chowk in Gurdaspur awaiting the star to arrive and they waited patiently for around four hours for a glimpse of their favourite star. Around six in the evening, Salman made an appearance and naturally the crowd went berserk with hundreds of fans (both male and female) following the Canter and the youth shouting ’’Radhe Radhe’’, reminding Salman of his character in TERE NAAM , which is still a big hit with the masses. Some of the youths even tried to alight the Canter to shake hands and Salman obliged his fans. He appealed to the public to vote for his big brother, Vinod Khanna, and finally bid goodbye leaving from Dhariwal to Batala.

Well, after Salman will it be Akshaye and Rahul Khanna, Vinod Khanna’s two handsome star sons who will follow suit and oblige the public with an appearance? Only time will tell!
