Ayesha Takia-What turns her on and what turns her off!

Ayesha Takia, her views, likes and peeves:

Did Farhan make the first move?

"Farhan, of course," she replies. "Guys should make the first move. I feel guys must strive to go after their girls if they love them."

Favorite food:. The voluptuous girl does not believe in being Ally McBeal..thank goodness for that. She is besotted by food and would cringe at the thought of dieting. Whenever she is in Mumbai, she goes to boyfriend Farhan’s Italian restaurant Basilico in Bandra. She loves Italian food especially and can gorge on pizzas and pasta. Among India food then, she loves mutton biryani and long grained rice. She has weakness for Chinese food too especially hakka noodles and soup. Of course, the sexy Indian burger-Vada paav is her childhood favorite. She still reminisces the vada pav that is near the Chembur post office. The secret of her heaviness is no doubt food as she loves dairy products and pizzas with generous oodles of cheese.

Favorite actors: Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan

Favorite actresses: Rani Mukherjee and Sridevi

Favorite director: Sanjay Leela Bhansali

Passion: Acting

If not acting then, what does Ayesha Takia do?: Just laze around, reading books, chatting with friends or going for long drives.

Ayesha takia loves-Pets! She infact does not tries to stop people from wearing leather.

Favorite music: Ghazals. Ayesha Takia loves Ghulam Ali and Abeeda Parveen. She also likes Trance and soft rock.

What pains her: Ayesha Takia’s heart bleeds when she reads about or witnesses the catastrophic effects of global warming. She calls it global warning rather than global warming. She regrets that being a celebrity does not give her too much time to concentrate on social issues.

One childhood incident that she remembers: The fact that when she was just 4, she had hugged a puppy and she was bitten in the upper lip. She also remembers the time she had flunked in maths

What she hates: Hypocrites and maths.

Quotes of Ayesha Takia:

"As an actress I want to do all roles that would inspire or challenge me. The first film that I did was not like the usual commercial flick, so I am trying to do varied roles."

"A person I would like to date would definitely be someone who I could respect and look up to. Someone with loads of manners and someone who loves my family someone who loves cinema and basically uses more of his heart then his mind and someone who loves me as a person, and the most important thing is that I have to respect him. Because you cannot love someone who you don't respect.”
