Aamir Khan is keeping a close tab on his buddy Salman Khan's Wanted

It is learnt that Aamir Khan is keeping a close tab on his buddySalman Khan’s film Wanted’s box office collections. The film has opened to bumper collections all over India in the single screens and the multiplexes collections, if not as big, has been rising steadily as well. Aamir’s Ghajini was the last Bollywood film to break big in the single screens and amass huge collections.

The trade has been claiming Wanted has over taken Ghajini at many centers and this has intrigued the perfectionist Aamir more. Though most of the critics have lashed the film out, Wanted has been conquering the box office even in its second week.

Incidentally, Aamir was invited personally by Salman to have a dekko of his Wanted, days before its release. However, with Aamir being busy with his 3 Idiots it was not possible for him. But he seems to have finally watched the film on last weekend and loved Salman’s act in it.

Shiney Ahuja shifted to hospital from jail

A day after he complained to the Sewree Sessions Court about his poor health, Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja, who is in jail for allegedly raping his maidservant, was shifted to the J J Hospital for treatment on Saturday afternoon.

Shiney Ahuja complained of severe back pain to the Sewree Sessions Court; he was shifted to J J Hospital for treatment on Saturday afternoon. The Bollywood actor, who has been in jail for allegedly raping his maidservant, said that he was unable to sit and suspected that he had a slipped-disc. He was also seen weeping inside the court room apparently due to the pain. His lawyers put forth a plea before the court that he should be shifted to a hospital for treatment.

The sessions court ordered the officials of the Arthur Road Jail, where the actor is lodged, to provide medical treatment and admit him to a hospital if needed. "He complained of severe pain and the jail doctor advised him to be admitted to the hospital for advanced treatment. So he was shifted on Saturday afternoon," Jail officials said.

Ahuja was arrested on June 15 for allegedly raping his maid at his residence in suburban Oshiwara. The sessions court is likely to frame charges against Ahuja on October 7, after hearing the arguments of both sides.

Asin to play the lead leading in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey

The industry is abuzz with the news that Ashutosh Gowariker has zeroed in on Asin to play the lead leading in Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan.

Our source says, "Asin met Ashutosh at his Khar office four days ago. He told her that he was keen to have her on board for his period drama."

Apparently, Asin refused to even listen to the narration saying that she had full faith in the director. The actress told him that she has seen his previous films and was looking forward to working with him."Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was to do the film earlier.

Though Ashu remained unavailable for comment sources close to the director confirmed the development saying, "Yes it is true that Asin is in his film. The formalities will be completed soon."

Fashion designer slapped by actress Mugdha Godse’s boyfriend

Fashion designer Surya Sarkar is still reeling from the shock on being slapped by actress Mugdha Godse’s boyfriend, Mithun . It all started with Surya designing clothes for Mugdha in her forthcoming film, All The Best. Things turned ugly when Mugdha refused to pay Surya.

Surya says, “Arre maine kucch galat nahi kiya hai. I have supplied Mugdha clothes for All The Best but she is refusing to pay me. When I insisted, Mithun came over to my house and slapped me.”

The drama unfolded when Mithun visited Surya’s house to pick up Mugdha’s clothes. Surya says, “Mugdha had said she wanted me to design her costumes for All The Best. When the bill amount kept increasing, I asked her to pay me, which she refused. I told her that she would only get the remaining clothes only when she cleared my dues amounting to Rs 1 lakh. Mithun came to my house and asked me to handover Mugdha’s clothes to him. I demanded my money and that’s when he slapped me.”

“I can’t fathom why Mugdha did this to me. She is a lovely hardworking girl and we have worked together in Jail too. I thought of filing a police complaint, but then decided otherwise.” Despite repeated text messages, Mugdha remained unavailable for comment.
