After Jodhaa Akbar, Hrithik Roshan will be seen in his home production Kite directed by Anurag Basu.
The leading ladies of Hrithik in the film are Latin model Barbara Mori and Metro girl Kangana Ranaut. We have learnt that the film will have some bold scenes between Hrithik and Barbara.
Says Anurag, “It’s a different movie and a bold one which will be entirely shot in New Mexico, Las Vegas and LA. The film is romantic and Hrithik’s character is completely different from what he has played in the past. He is more flamboyant and will be romancing both the Latin actress and Kangana. His character is like a kite which wanders here and there but always flies high.”
On working with Hrithik, he says, “I’m very excited but at the same time very nervous. I have seen Jodhaa Akbar and he is very professional actor but at the same time very dedicated. Rakesh Roshan has seen Life in A Metro and was very impressed with my direction and that’s how I got a chance to direct Hrithik.”
He further reveals, “I have to cast one more hero for which the auditions are still on in Mumbai and LA. I guess it will be finalized by March end and the shooting will commence by July. We are planning to release the film by June 2009.”
We hope Kite flies high at the box-office too.
