On January 14 2000 Hrithik Roshan entered a cinema to attend the premiere of his first film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000). When he came in some people recognised him but not much happened. When the film was over there was a stampede and mass hysteria broke out. He got mobbed. The police had to come and escort him out of the cinema and away from a crowd of thousands. Cristiano Ronaldo gets close and personal with Bipasha Basu

Soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be heating up things with Bollywood beauty Bipasha Basu.
According to reports, Ronaldo danced close and personal with Bipasha at the New Wonders of the World after party at Belem club in Lisbon.
Man United’s Portuguese ace showed Bipasha some of the fancy footwork on the dance floor, reports the Mirror.
The pair was partying together following their appearance at a gala ceremony to announce the new Seven Wonders of the World at Portugal’s Benfica Stadium.
According to onlookers, Cristiano and Bipasha were all over each other and were reportedly seen kissing too.

Biography

Fate intervened when Bipasha recoiled and passed out when dissecting a rat. Thus ended her dream of being a medical professional. She was enrolled in the Science faculty until 12th standard, but switched to Commerce thereafter. After acquiring a degree in Commerce she planned to be a Chartered Accountant but ended up being the Ford Supermodel of the World when she was just 17 years old.
Bipasha was born on January 7th 1979 in New Delhi. subsequently the Basu family re-located to Calcutta. Bipasha is the second of three sisters, born and brought up in a Hindu Bengali family, she is fluent in Hindi, English, and Bengali. The names of her sisters are Bidisha and Bijoyeta. Unbelievable as it may sound, sexy Bipasha was considered ’ugly’ in her younger years due to her dark complexion. Her name means ’Dark Deep Desire’, and is also the name of a river.
After her triumph as the Ford Supermodel, she went on to be crowned Miss Vivacious sponsored by Tulips.
Bipasha made her foray into Bollywood with ’Ajnabee’ in 2001, and subsequently acquired a place for herself in the tinsel world. She went to star in ’Raaz’, ’Jism’, ’No Entry’, ’Phir Herapheri’, ’Corporate’ &’Dhoom 2’. All of these movies did fairly well at the box office, and escalated her position as not only a leading lady, but one who can dare to bare. ’Dhoom 2’ also credits her as a playback singer.

Biography

Aishwarya Rai’s striking beauty might make her seem an obvious fit as a model, but the truth is that India’s 1994 Miss World winner originally took up modeling as a part-time job to get her through school. She was studying to be an architect, but due to her obvious talent on-stage and in front of the camera, -- most notably in a wildly popular Pepsi campaign -- the starlet began accepting the movie offers that had been pouring in. Rai began her reign as Bollywood’s favorite leading lady in the film Iruvar, following it up that same year with ...Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. They both earned her critical praise and the latter brought her a Best Female Debutante Award. More awards would follow, including Best Actress by Filmfare and Zee Cine for 2000s Straight from the Heart. As the actress put more and more films under her belt, her position as India’s darling cemented. Her role in 2002’s Devdas was especially auspicious; the movie was the most successful in Bollywood history and received a special screening at the Cannes Film Festival -- the first Bollywood film to receive such an honor. The next year found Rai making still more headway for Bollywood when she became the first Indian member of the grand jury at Cannes.

By 2004, Rai had appeared in well over 20 films in just seven years, and it was finally time for her to star in her first English-language film. The Hollywood/ Bollywood crossover hit Bride and Prejudice reworked Jane Austen’s classic love story Pride and Prejudice with the Bollywood film style, bringing together Eastern and Western actors, as well as themes. The film proved to be yet another successful example in Rai’s history of helping to bring India’s culture and film into the world spotlight, delighting fans all over the globe. Having sampled Hollywood, Rai was now ready to make a serious foray into American films. She signed on to star with Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley in 2007’s historical epic The Last Legion as well as French director Coline Serreau’s remake of her 2001 film Chaos, which would cast Rai alongside Meryl Streep.
