Tusshar in a double role

Tusshar is now better known for his comedy timings and cool roles. After After Dhol and Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Fun Unlimited and Golmaal Returns, Tusshar has been signed on for ‘Gol Maal’.

The movie is believed to be a remake of the classic which was directed Hrishikesh Mukherjee.
Gol Maal will be directed by Satish Kaushik, and of course, we will see Tusshar in a double role like Amol Palekar had done. The producer of the movie says that this is not a remake. However, we do look forward to double comedy by Tusshar in a new role of this kind.

Reports also say that, the wedding is a two day affair and the shows are being scripted, coordinated and directed. And Shiamak Davar is the choreographer.

Bollywood’s hyper B-grade movie

While Mohammad Ajmal Qasab’s trial is underway in Mumbai, our speed-driven Bollywood has already raced ahead with the verdict. In Surender Suri’s next film, titled Total Ten, Ajmal Qasab has already reached his end, one that Mumbai is eager to see, promises its producer. “We have had Qasab hanged at the end,” said Rajan Verma who plays Qasab.

The film, budgeted at a meagre Rs 3 crore, shows the ‘journey’ of Qasab and has all the characters in question. Sudesh Berry plays Vijay Salaskar, Homi Wadia plays Hemant Karkare, Ashok Kulkarni plays Ashok Kamte and Ashish Vidyarthi plays Tukaram Ombale.

The film also has a host of small-time actors playing Qasab’s Pakistani handlers while Aroon Bakshi plays Maulana Masood Azhar. “Every real-life detail has been followed in the film, beginning with their entering Mumbai by boat, surviving on dry fruits, carrying out their operations, etc,” says Verma.

The film has been shot in Mumbai and Pune, and outside the Taj Mahal hotel too. Much of it has been shot on actual locations, following the trail of disaster of 26/11. Verma said that initially he was scared to play Qasab, but was convinced by director Suri who told him the film gives out a strong message against terrorism.

While Total Ten is likely to be the first film to be released on the terror attack, it’s not the only one. Bollywood’s hyper B-grade movie industry is in the throes of churning out at least 15 films on the subject. As for the mainstream, most directors have stayed away after Ram Gopal Varma’s Taj visit fiasco which led to the ouster of then chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh.

Dev Patel and Freida Pinto romantic night out in Israel

Slumdog Millionaire` stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto have been caught kissing during a romantic night out in Israel.

Rumours that the actors, who played childhood sweethearts in the Oscar-winning movie,
are dating for real began circulating after ’Slumdog’ co-star Anil Kapoor hinted they were an item, reports Contactmusic.

Kapoor said, "When I meet them I feel there is something happening. (I think) this is the beginning of
something exciting happening. They definitely make a great pair. Both of them look very good together."

However, Patel and Pinto have frequently dismissed rumours they are dating.

Pinto said: "We`re not dating," while 18-year-old Patel added, "No, we`re not seeing each other."

However, the British teenager recently visited Israel to see Pinto on the set of her new movie ‘Miral’,
and the pair was later spotted enjoying a few tender moments during a romantic dinner.
